Under Down Under: Land of the Giants

A fantastic full day tour of southern Tasmania including Tasmania's oldest National Park, Russell Falls, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (with Tassie Devil feeding) and the Summit of Mt Wellington.

Join us on a day full of Tasmanian Highlights as we journey 80km North West of Hobart and into the wilderness. On our way to Tasmania’s oldest National Park we pass through the Derwent Valley, the historic settlement of New Norfolk and the hop fields of Bushy Park.
Once we arrive in the Land of the Giants we walk amongst some of the world’s tallest trees in this wilderness wonderland and see beautiful Russell Falls. The highlights continue as we visit Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to be guided amongst the local animals including the famous Tassie Devils. Continuing along the eastern shore of the Derwent River we pass Risdon Cove, cross the Tasman Bridge and ascend the road to the summit of Mt Wellington. Once at the summit we take the time to appreciate this alpine environment and its spectacular views of Southern Tasmania.
